Ocean University Medical Center
Located in Brick, Ocean University Medical Center serves southern Monmouth and Ocean counties. Ocean University Medical Center has a 44,300 square foot Emergency Care Center and a comprehensive Cancer Center that provides a multidisciplinary approach to cancer care with the latest radiation therapy technologies.
Ocean University Medical Center received accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) for residency programs in family medicine and psychiatry.
Ocean University Medical Center is a designation for orthopedic joint replacements where more than 1,000 joint replacements are done annually. Other key services include: designation as a Primary Stroke Center; brain lab neurological surgery, DaTscan and advanced imaging technology; da Vinci robotic surgery; general thoracic and vascular surgery; a Joint Commission accredited orthopedic program, one of the nation’s most advanced cardiac catheterization laboratories and cardiac services; maternity, acute care of the elderly, and critical care services.
The medical center also operates the state’s first satellite Emergency Care Center in Point Pleasant, the Ocean Care Center, and hospital-based programs at Jackson Health Village.
