Hackensack University Medical Center has been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the top “100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Orthopedic Programs” in the nation.

Becker’s Hospital Review highlighted the Orthopedic Institute at Hackensack University Medical Center, which has over 50 team members and offers personalized care plan for patients. An impressive 96 percent of patients are able to walk or stand within the same day as their total joint replacement procedure.

In addition, Hackensack Meridian Health’s 30-day readmission rate for orthopedic patients is 1.9 percent, and 80 percent of patients are discharged home.

Hackensack University Medical Center was recently recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a high-performing hospital in knee and hip replacements, and Healthgrades also rated Hackensack University Medical Center as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery and Joint Replacement.
