10Minute Epic Pause Scheduled For 930 pm Thursday June 8

What You Need To Know

  • The Epic system will pause for 10 minutes at 9:30 p.m., on Thursday, June 8, 2023, while new updates are installed.
  • All connections will be suspended during this time.
  • Epic Customization will be temporarily unavailable beginning 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, lasting until the update is complete at 9:40 p.m. Thursday.
  • Users can resume their workflows when the pause is complete.
  • Epic Hyperspace Read-Only is available during this time, if needed.
If you are performing a workflow during the pause that will require you to use downtime procedures, please take this time to review your local procedures.

Epic Customizations will be temporarily unavailable until the update is complete. These include:

  • Creating or editing filters in Chart Review
  • Applying filters in work lists
  • Customizing advanced settings for Charge Router Reconciliation and Routed Charges reports
  • Creating or editing SmartPhrases and SmartLinks
  • Personalizing dashboards
  • Creating, Editing, and Sharing NoteWriter Macros
  • Creating or editing QuickActions
  • Adding users to In Basket pools
