Thomas Bauer, M.D., clinical medical director of Oncology and chief of Thoracic Surgery at Jersey Shore served as keynote speaker at the American Lung Association LUNG FORCE Expo in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Patients, caregivers and health care providers attended the event to learn more about the latest trends, resources and research surrounding lung cancer, IPF, COPD and asthma, and other lung diseases.

The HMH oncology team sponsored and exhibited at the expo. Keynote speaker Thomas Bauer, M.D., spoke about taking a multidisciplinary approach to managing lung cancer. His focus was on stage 3A lung cancer and utilizing chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery to treat advanced stage cancer that were previously listed as incurable.
