Nina Bhatia MD FACOG Joins HMHs Urogynecology Team

Nina Bhatia, M.D., FACOG brings a unique surgical expertise to the region in the field of urogynecology. With advanced training from several prominent medical programs, she is one of the only urogynecologists in the region who is board certified and fellowship-trained in Urogynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She offers a full range of complex urogynecologic reconstructive surgery specializing in vaginal and robotic surgery, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and overactive bladder.
Dr. Bhatia is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, member of the American Urogynecologic Society, and a peer reviewer for The Official Journal of the American Urogynecologic Society, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She has been published in several journals, written book chapters, and has presented both nationally and internationally on the topics of transvaginal surgical procedures, pelvic organ prolapse, treatment of overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, interstitial cystitis, vaginal health and sexual function.
In addition to receiving the 2019 and 2020 NJ Top Doctor award, she has been actively involved in instructing her colleagues at cadaver labs across the nation. Previously, Dr. Bhatia was an attending physician, member of the Robotic Steering Committee and OB/GYN Department Journal Club Director at Penn Medicine – Princeton Medical Center.
