Namrata G Jain MD to Lead Pediatric Kidney Transplant Program at Joseph M Sanzari Childrens Hospital
Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital welcomes pediatric nephrologist Namrata G. Jain, M.D., as Medical Director of Pediatric Kidney Transplant. She will be working in close collaboration with Kenneth Lieberman, M.D., chief of Pediatric Nephrology, as well as physicians across the hospital’s more than 30 pediatric subspecialties.
Board certified in pediatrics and pediatric nephrology, Dr. Jain specializes in treating a wide range of conditions, including:

I welcome questions from parents and want to make sure I am always providing the care each child deserves.”
Following her previous success growing the pediatric transplant program at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Dr. Jain brings a wealth of experience to New Jersey to continue to expand the Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health pediatric kidney transplant program at Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital.
About Dr. Jain
Dr. Jain earned her medical degree from New York Medical College. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Children’s Memorial Hospital (now Lurie Children’s Hospital) / Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, and a fellowship in pediatric nephrology and transplant at Boston Children’s Hospital / Harvard Medical School. She is fluent in English and Assamese, and proficient in medical Spanish.
Dr. Jain is committed to clinical research that improves quality outcomes for her patients and has co-authored numerous publications in high-impact journals. She is principal investigator for a Pediatric Nephrology Research Consortium study and an active participant in several multicenter research consortiums.
