Wishing Dr Robert Bayly a Happy Retirement

Robert W. Bayly, M.D.
Robert W. Bayly, M.D., Chief Quality Officer
We wish Dr. Robert W. Bayly a fond farewell upon retiring after nearly four decades of service and leadership in our community. When asked to reflect on his career, Dr. Bayly cited these highlights:
  • Starting a critical program at Muhlenberg
  • Being named the first Chief Quality Officer at JFK Medical Center
  • Becoming the first Chief Quality Officer for Hackensack Meridian Health’s Central Region
“I remember that the leadership team at JFK made me feel very welcome and part of the group,” he said, recalling the merger of Muhlenberg and JFK to create Solaris. As Chief Quality Officer (CQO), Dr. Bayly worked to eliminate preventable harm to patients, family members and staff, to attain unsurpassed clinical and patient-reported outcomes, and build organization-wide participation through transparency, collaboration and mutual learning. As JFK’s CQO, Dr. Bayly developed and oversaw a program using Advance Practice Nurses to provide house coverage and led Project Red initiatives for Congestive Heart Failure and COPD in an effort to decrease readmissions. Thank you, Dr. Bayly, for all you’ve done for JFK. Here’s to years of health and happiness in retirement! Dr. Bayly was honored for his years of service on June 1 with a celebration in JFK University Medical Center's Team Member Cafeteria.   . .
