Dr James Nangeroni Completes 500th Robotic Procedure

Congratulations to Dr. James Nangeroni, who celebrated the completion of his 500th robotic case with leadership and the surgical team on April 11.

Southern Ocean Medical Center is currently at a total robotic volume of 835 cases since the robotic-assisted-surgery program began in June 2022. We are hoping to hit 1000 total cases by mid-June or early July. In March 2023, we acquired an additional robot to keep up with the volume.
