Second Annual Urology Research Education Dinner raises over 150 000

The second Annual Urology Research & Education dinner raised over $150,000 to support advancements in urological education and clinical research.

This year's event honored grateful patient and Urology Fellowship Benefactor, Dottie Purcell, and was co-chaired by grateful patients Leo T. Ehrline, III and Gerard S. LaRocca.

Expert panel presenters included Michael Stifelman, M.D., chairman of Urology, director of Robotic Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center and chairman of Urology at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University; David Shin, M.D.,chief of Center for Sexual Health and Fertility at Hackensack University Medical Center; Debra Fromer, M.D., chief of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, and Olivier Loudig, Ph.D., associate member of the Center for Discovery and Innovation at Hackensack Meridian Health.

Following the presentation, there was a formal dinner, silent auction and an award ceremony.

The co-chairs tireless efforts helped raise over $150,000, doubling last year’s inaugural event.  Funds raised support advancements in urological education and clinical research.
