Raritan Bay Old Bridge Receives Major Gift in Support of New Emergency Department

Raritan Bay Medical Center – Old Bridge recently received a gift of $150,000 from University Radiology in support of the new Emergency Department currently under construction.
Raritan Bay Medical Center Old Bridge broke ground on its new 24,000 square feet, $39 million Emergency Department in October. With 25,000 visits annually, the new state-of-the-art Emergency Department will provide safer and faster arrivals by adding additional ambulance bays, newly designed pediatric rooms and new on-site technology with equipment that will provide more accurate diagnostics and treatment. Additionally, it will include greater privacy, comfort and immediate patient triage.

The fundraising effort for the new Emergency Department at Raritan Bay Medical Center Old Bridge is part of Meridian Health Foundation’s regional comprehensive fundraising campaign called Giving Heals, which focuses on four important initiatives: strengthening oncology services, improving clinical outcomes, enhancing the patient experience and broadening clinical research and academic programs at the following Hackensack Meridian Health hospitals: Bayshore Medical Center, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, Ocean Medical Center, Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge, Riverview Medical Center and Southern Ocean Medical Center.
