Five HMH Hospitals Receive A Grades from the Leapfrog Group

Four of our hospitals have earned an "A" from the Leapfrog Group as part of the spring 2020 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade.

The following Hackensack Meridian Health Hospitals have received spring 2020 “A” grades:

Jersey Shore University Medical Center

Ocean Medical Center

Raritan Bay Medical Center - Perth Amboy

Riverview Medical Center

Pascack Valley Medical Center

This designation recognizes hospitals for efforts to protect patients from harm and provide safer health care. 

The Leapfrog Group, a Washington, D.C.-based national nonprofit organization, is committed to improving health care quality and safety for consumers and purchasers. Developed under the guidance of an Expert Panel, the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 28 measures of publicly available hospital safety data twice per year.
