Meridian ACO 2018 MIPS Final Score Feedback Reports Now Available

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' (CMS) final 2018 Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Performance Year results are now available. If you participated in a MIPS Alternative Payment Model (APM) in 2018, specifically in a Medicare Shared Savings Program (Shared Savings Program), your performance feedback is now available to your ACO (APM Entity) via the Quality Payment Program (QPP) website.

Meridian ACO’s MIPS Performance Scores

These payment adjustments take effect on January 1, 2020.

Meridian ACO saw an increase in its MIPS Adjustment as its 2017 MIPS Adjustment was a +0.82% which is currently in effect for 2019.

Please note that MIPS Targeted Review ends on September 30 with final analysis concluding shortly thereafter. Because feedback is still being compiled and analyzed, CMS could issue a recalculation in the future. While it’s not known when analysis will be complete, Meridian ACO received its final results in late October last year.

How to Log Into the QPP Website

Log in using your Enterprise Identity Management (EIDM) credentials. These are the same EIDM credentials that allowed you to submit your MIPS data. If you don’t have an EIDM account, refer to this guide and start the process now.

You will see your TIN’s unique Advancing Care Information (now “Promoting Interoperability”) score and will not be able to see the ACO entity’s final MIPS score and resulting payment adjustment. Click on your ACO to learn its final 2018 MIPS performance scores and resulting 2020 payment adjustments to ACO participant TINs.

The MIPS payment adjustment displayed for the ACO will be applied to the Medicare paid amounts for covered professional services furnished under the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule in 2020 for all MIPS eligible clinicians in ACO participant TINs as of the August 31, 2018 final snapshot date.
